One of the most notable garden in France, Chateau de La Napoule just grabs our attention. The beautiful castle was restored by the Clewses and in 1951 Marie Clews founded the La Napoule Art Foundation which supports the castle’s exhibitions.
We highly recommend a visit to its cafe which overlooks the sea.
Travel to Provence France region and make sure to check out Goult and Gordes. Goult is a hilltop village toward the Luberon Mountains. We fell in love with this quaint B+B. Gordes only 2.5 miles away from Goult. Every Tuesday, Gordes Market opens and give you an opportunity to buy linens, lavender, soaps, cheese and wine. We are hungry already. We pick Domaine de Fontenille for a luxury stay.
This photo reminded me to “slow down” and take the time to think about where I am, what I am doing, and where I am going.
Photo taken in Antibes, France. Antibes is on the southeast side of France on the Cote d’Azur. I appreciated Wikipedia’s historical information about the Antibes and how it was originally a Roman settlement with remaining Roman artifacts such as aqueducts, fortified walls and amphitheaters.
This past weekend, I played Inn Keeper to my two cousins. I had them over to the house in CT for Bed N Breakfast weekend. It was the perfect Autumn evening and I was feeling nostalgic for countryside France. I thought warm savory crepes instantly with a side herb salad drizzled with Balsamic vinegar. The crepes were filled with goat cheese, white mushrooms, yellow onions and scrambled eggs with rosemary.
Ahh it was just loveliness with the fire in the background drinking red wine. Plenty of laughter too.
This perfect Autumn photo was Sunday morning at my fav Brunch spot.
